Custom Orders
I prefer to take measurements for custom orders in person, and to have the customer try on an existing garment so that I can get a better idea of the adjustments that need to be made. Once I have your measurements, I will make a fitting muslin to be sure that everything fits as it should. Again, I prefer to work with the customer and the muslin in person, however, if that is not possible I will mail the muslin, along with a letter to guide your self-fitting. I will include my email address and telephone number in case there are any questions. We will work with the muslin until it does indeed fit properly. This means that I may only have to send it to you once, or we may have to make several adjustments.
Allow up to eight weeks from the time I receive the final fitting muslin for your custom order to be completed.
As I am in school full time and have to complete midterms, finals etc., from time to time I will limit my custom orders.
Prices for custom clothing will vary depending on the garment wanted, the fabric chosen, and the alterations needed.
Half of payment is expected when placing an order; the second half is expected when you receive the garment.
If between the time you place the order and the time I begin work on a fitting muslin, you change your mind about the garment, I will refund the first payment. If you change your mind after I begin work on the fitting muslin, I will refund half of the first payment. After this point, I cannot offer refunds.
